J is a wonderful dancer and dance teacher! Here is a video of him dancing with one of his students at the winter showcase at our dance studio. I also have a video of he and his professional partner dancing. (They did an excellent job!) However, I'll respect their privacy as professionals and not post it at this time.
Either way, I'm always proud of him!

J and I spent the holidays with our family and had a great time! We spent Thanksgiving in PA with his family and Christmas in AL with mine. I'm very upset with myself that I didn't take any pictures while we were visiting family though! I'm terrible about remembering to take pictures! Fortunately, J mentioned that I take the camera out to capture this night pictured below. I'm glad that he did!

Every time I get anything new, I have at least one of the following two questions:
1. How do I clean it/wash it?
AND/OR
2. How do I store it? (OR "Where do I put it?")
For J and I, this was our first Christmas together! It was also our first time to decorate our own space for Christmas. We decorated as much as we could. We put up lights on the outside of our house, we put decorations on the mantel, and we put up a very nice tree! We hope to add on to our decorations every year and try to build our supplies slowly!
SOOO...you can imagine my first reaction to buying all of these decorations, was to figure out how we wanted to store it all. Fortunately, Target had a sale on plastic bins yesterday. We bought a large, deep bin to put our garland, wreaths, lights, etc in and 4 of the smaller bins pictured below for all of the ornaments. These smaller boxes actually come with cardboard inserts to organize the ornaments. Very nice.

It's pretty much inevitable that I miss the following every day when I go to work: my hubby, my kitties, and sleep.
SO...here is a recent picture of my kitties. I'd post one of J, but there are too many good ones to chose from. He's a cutie!
(Vit looks like he swallowed two of our Christmas lights! LOL!)

We got him! This was from my Dad's surprise 50th birthday party! We were anxious to see if he was surprised for REAL, but this picture assured me that we had been victorious! Nice! My sister-in-law Lauren, my mom, and I had been planning and planning for a long time. The party was a success for sure! The only glitch was the one typo in the zip code on the invitations I had made at a local print shop. I gave them the text on a Word document online and triple checked it, but there was a communication error somewhere=( Other than that, Mom did a great job with the food and Lauren's decorations were awesome!
That same weekend, I threw a baby shower for my long-time friend Angela. Sadly, my camera died and I couldn't take pictures. I had a wonderful decoration idea that ended up being very cute! I will give credit to my dance studio, Dance World, for this idea. I didn't come up with it myself. This was their centerpiece idea at a baby shower for one of the instructors.
Here it was in a nutshell:
1. I ordered a few dozen high float (better than helium) balloons from a local florist.
2. We separated all the balloons into bunches of 4-5 balloons.
3. Individual centerpieces: We tied the pretty ribbons of each bunch of balloons together, in a bow, around a jar of baby food. We kept the balloons 4-5 feet above the baby food jar
4. We placed 5 of these centerpieces in a row going down the long table where the guests sat.
It was really pretty! You walked in and immediately noticed the high balloons. However, when people took a closer look they noticed they were stationed to baby food jars.
