The Last 3 Months

So here are some things that have happened in the last few months since my last post:

* Found renters for our home
* Competed in a dance competition
* Started looking for a rental house only to be disappointed by the selection available
* Adopted a puppy rescued by my Sister-in-Law's Mother
* Started looking at BUYING a second house through a second mortgage while renting our current one...that fell through.
* Survived a layoff at work and was re-assigned (a good thing) to another section of recruiting at our hospital . Good change even though it has been stressful. At least I survived and I have a job.
* Had an annual physical....still waiting on lab results.
* Made a difficult decision with the hubby to stay in our current home. The house hunt had become its own monster. The combination of stress at our workplaces paired with the never ending stress of the hunt had reached a boiling point. We decided we could spend a fraction of the cost it would take to rent, buy, or attempt to sell in this market (Yes, that was an option at one point too)......we could get a privacy fence. The new door we have in addition to the privacy fence will hopefully give us the security we need to stay in our current home/neighborhood. We're currently looking into quotes.

I'm not sure the busyness of my current job will allow me to blog very much if at all. I enjoy it though so I'll try. My 29th birthday is coming up soon. I'm setting some big goals for myself over the next year. I'll be working on getting those started full blast! Hopefully, I'll be able to document them here.
